Brian Dodd
Co-Founder and
Community Coordinator

Brian earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Temple University.  Inspired by the ideals of the intentional therapeutic community model, Brian decided to pursue graduate studies in clinical social work and social service management from Bryn Mawr College. During his first semester, Brian co-founded Adesha Village, and has been the guiding force for its programs and vision.

Joyce Reilly
Member, Board of Advisors
Exposed at an early age to many ethnic groups and religions, Joyce developed an interest in the varieties of human experience and human expression. At age 12, she resolved to work with those suffering from mental and emotional anguish, and to do so in the context of a spiritually enlivened intentional community. Joyce has held several positions, both in the US and abroad, in therapeutic communities and traditional social work. In 1984, Joyce founded Gheel House, a therapeutic community developed for individuals with a long experience of mental and emotional difference.
 
Rob Chisholm
Member, Board of Advisors
Rob has been a full-time professional administrator of volunteer programs since 1971, working in the field of mental health since 1974.  Driven by his passion to change lives though connecting Community volunteers with people in mental health recovery, Rob has founded two Compeer Programs and in 1994 was presented with Compeer International’s Outstanding Compeer Program Director Award.
 
Kristen Weber
Clinical Coordinator
Kristen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Cabrini College. Upon graduating from Cabrini College, she went on to receive a Masters Degree in Social Work from West Chester University. Kristen’s dedication to the field of Social Work stems from a strong desire to help improve the lives of those with special needs.

Michaela Godshall
Adesha Arts Coordinator
A native of Germany, Michaela has extensive experience living in and contributing to Camphill communities in South Africa, Ireland and the US. Raised by an artistic father, Michaela intertwines two of her greatest passions, her artistic nature and her compassion for people.
