What is Adesha Village?
Adesha Village is a private, not-for-profit Intentional, Therapeutic Community. Adesha offers services to its Members who are adults with special mental health needs. Support services available include Overnight Support, Care Management, Advocacy & Education and the Adesha Art Program. Programs are designed to foster recovery, enhance autonomy and promote individual growth based on the personal goals of each individual Member.

Who is an Adesha Member?

“Members” are those being served by Adesha Village; adults with special mental health needs. The term “Member” was consciously chosen as a way to denote choice and an expectation of active participation in the therapeutic community process.

Who provides services to Adesha Members?
From the beginning, a "Care Team" is assembled with and around each Member according to their unique set of needs. The care team usually consists of a Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Social Worker and general support staff.

What is the ultimate aim of Adesha Village?

While Adesha services and programs are tailored made to fit the needs of each Member, all services and programs are meant to foster recovery, enhance autonomy and promote personal growth through the healing power of relationships. Along the way, assistance is provided to broaden networks of social support, assure access to necessary resources, secure meaningful employment or volunteer positions in a manner that Member’s experience a sense of dignity, acceptance, belongingness, purpose and independence.
